Pastor Ed Wellein has been following Jesus for most of his life. He and his dream wife, Lorrie, have been happily married for 30 years. They are blessed with seven amazing children, their spouses, and six grandchildren (they continue to multiply!). Originally from Prince Edward County in Ontario, they are thankful that God graciously opened the way for them to relocate to the island 24 years ago, and to Campbell River nine years ago.
Working as a pastor, missionary, and then web developer for 25+ years, Ed has had the opportunity to solve problems and architect custom websites for many cities, congressmen, and megachurches including Times Square Church and Brooklyn Tabernacle. He has been privileged to lead worship and preach at different local churches, as well as chair the board at Campbell River Christian School.
In addition to his day job as a Senior Technical Specialist with WebRezPro, Ed is ordained as the church planting pastor for the Wesleyan Church in Campbell River. He is a graduate of Aldersgate College and Emmanuel Bible College, and values being plugged into various missional training cohorts (Enn9w1, PASTE). He loves walking in the near presence of Jesus each day, pondering His words of eternal life and connecting with Heaven through new worship songs.
